Sunny Barrow Hale

Orleans, MA

Bud and I are grateful to have had Ross as our friend. Beginning in the classes where Barron always sat next to Barrow, I have been blessed by his humor and his sweet spirit. Bud remembers FFA and the farming years. Although we moved away from Lamesa many years ago, Ross remained a faithful friend and an example of Christian love. We celebrate his life and homegoing.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Ross's family. Ross was my friend and neighbor for many years. We both grew up in the Midway community and the Midway Baptist Church and we both served as deacons at the First Baptist Church. Ross loved his family and many friends.

Mr Barron such an amazing man, full of love, compassion and wisdom! He was the best to work with and I loved his stories! He was such a faithful man of God and he loved the Lord. He would help anyone and was so kind to all he met.
Prayers for his family!

I've know Ross since my family moved to Midway in 1942. Have a lot of good memories of him coming to our house with my brother & me going to the Barrons with Barbara & Clara. Then Richard & I with he & Linda in Heritage Club. Was fun to watch he & Linda's kids grow up. Always enjoyed his singing too.
All of you, his family are in my thoughts & prayers.

Uncle Ross had a hand in my raising and I'm a better person for it. He was a kind and patient man and a lot of fun to be around. My favorite memories are of the summers spent in Lamesa going to the farm and the Barron family singings. the first time I drove a pickup it was his black Ford when I was 13. He cosigned my first loan for a used car after I got out of the Navy, and loaned me the money to buy my first set of tools. Ross had a big heart and was always willing to help a person better themselves. I'd love to set on the couch and play "Folsom" or "I saw the light" with him one more time.

Dear Family,
Ross was truly the dearest friend a guy or gal could have. Vieta and Ross grew up as neighbors south of town, and were lifetime buddies. Charles and Ross became best of friends beginning in 6th grade. Ross always enjoyed Tornado Jubilee and sadly, missed the 2015 event. He had a beautiful voice, heart and was always a Christian in thought, word and deed. Rest well, friend. We'll have a Jubilee in Heaven some day. We are sad that we cannot be with all you children due to being far away. Know that we love you all.
